The following comments can be attributed to Associate Professor Ghazarian:

“Angus Taylor has just taken on the hardest job in politics. The Liberal Party has been losing ground in polls to One Nation and the party has been divided between conservative and more socially progressive MPs. This has led to party uncertain about its policy settings and personnel.

“The position of leader has immense power in the Liberal Party. They are responsible for determining and advancing the party's policy agenda. Angus Taylor now has to demonstrate what his vision is for the party, and what approach he will take to unite the party and galvanise support from the broader community.”
